I have conducted an extensive range of writing workshops with groups in prisons in Durban and Pietermaritzburg, school groups (from junior to the secondary level), technical colleges, community-based organisations (such as Aids organisations and centres for people with disabilities), inter-faith religious groupings, as well as informal groups made up of general members of the public.

I have also participated in numerous group and solo poetry readings in Pietermaritzburg, Durban, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Nieu Bethesda, Franschhoek, Grahamstown, Kimberley, Cape Town, London, as well as Calgary, Canmore and Edmonton in Canada, and Dublin, Cork, Fermoy and Dromineer in Ireland.
